Fall 2022 Virtual Learning Session Prework

SUBMIT A PROPOSAL FOR OUR ALL TEACH ALL LEARN IMPROVEMENT EXPO:

The NPC-QIC 2022 Fall Learning Session Committee invites attendees to submit a proposal for an All Teach All Learn Improvement Expo focused on highlighting quality improvement projects connected to Phase II quality improvement priorities. We are interested in projects for the following areas:  

  • Family & Patient Support  

  • Optimal Fetal & Perinatal Management  

  • Improving Morbidity, Mortality, and Family Support During Pre-op ICU, Periop & Postop  

  • Optimize Development for Single Ventricle Infant Survivors  

  • Achieve Optimal Oral Feeding & Adequate Growth  

Please highlight at least one QI tool in your submission, such as a Key Driver Diagram, PDSA cycle, Pareto chart, Statistical Process Chart, or other tool. We are interested in seeing projects at different stages of completion, including design and early results. We will accept several proposals to present for this session and will accept multiple submissions per center.  We encourage centers of all sizes to submit proposals.

Instructions for Proposal Submission 

  • Complete the proposal application and provide complete contact information for the presenter (name, email, title, and phone number).

  • The Lead Presenter will be notified regarding the status of your submission. 

  • Contact info@npcqic.org for questions regarding the proposal process or issues with accessing Redcap. 

  • Submit presentation description by our new extended deadline of Monday, September 19, 2022.

YOUR PROPOSAL IS MORE LIKELY TO BE ACCEPTED IF YOU: 

  • Highlight at least one QI tool in your submission, such as a PDSA cycle.

  • Address patient and family engagement/co-production or include a parent as a co-presenter. 

  • Are not employed by a commercial interest and do not include proprietary tools, content, or technology. 

HOW TO SUBMIT:  

  • To submit a proposal, complete the application in Redcap and follow instructions. 

  • The lead presenter must provide a valid e-mail address, as NPC-QIC will rely on e-mail communications related to proposal submission and presentation.  

SCHEDULE: 

  • 9/09/22: Submission deadline (11:59 p.m. ET)

  • TBD: Acceptance notification for all who submitted along with confirmation of title, presenters, and objectives. Poster setup details will also be provided.
